Sehat Sahulat Program is a milestone towards social welfare reforms; ensuring that the identified under-privileged citizens across the country get access to their entitled medical health care in a swift and dignified manner without any financial obligations.
The SSP's objective is to improve access of the poor population to good quality medical services, through a micro health insurance scheme.

A number of the populace, particularly the not so fortunate and those living in suburbs/rural areas have limited access to health care. In particular, women and children are the main sufferers.
