The Surgery Department is headed by Prof. Syed Aslam Shah, an experienced surgeon and faculty member. The Surgery Team has multi-dimensional expertise to deal with all types of surgeries including Laparoscopic surgery, Thyroid, Parotid, Breast, Colorectal and a variety of surgical procedures. We intend to start transplant surgery next year. On average 40 patients are examined daily in the OPD and about 500 surgeries are conducted in a month.

Postgraduate Training Program (FCPS) is available at General Surgery Department of Rawal General Hospital (RGH).
FCPS Program is accredited by College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP).
